Join us Sea Kayaking on the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site. Over 2 days you will discover the wonders of the Jurassic coast. You will marvel at the splendid rock formations and their junction with the crystal-clear seas. Each day will provide a chance to be absorbed into the geology and the sea. From the chalk stacks of Old Harry, the spectacular archway of Durdle Door and the ledges between Swanage and Weymouth.
Perhaps as a group, you decide you would like to paddle out of Kimmeridge through the Purbeck Marine Wildlife Reserve. This area is renowned for its biodiversity including, anemones, starfish, sea horses and a vast array of colourful seaweeds. All of which can be discovered at the end of the day on their snorkel trail or rock pooling . Whatever you fancy Join us for plenty of opportunities to discover the mysteries of the Jurassic coast.
What to expect Sea Kayaking the Jurassic Coast
We will meet up in the morning and talk through the groups Sea Kayaking experience. Following from this we will check the weather and tides. Together we will then plan our journey on the Jurassic Coast to meet the groups abilities and aspirations. You will need to bring lunch as this will be taken during the day in a stunning location. The aim is not to cover huge miles but get up close with the junction of the sea and cliffs marvelling at the beauty on offer. Depending on the weather we may take a wild swim or practice some fun rocky landings. Whatever we end up doing you are sure to have fun, see some spectacular scenery and develop as a sea kayaker.
